Guidance for Submitting Images

The most important thing to remember is, the larger the file size - the better. Files should be submitted on CD or DVD in TIFF, PSD, JPEG or PowerPoint formats. We use both MAC and PC so we are able to read most popular formats.

A 35mm image is 36x24mm and so the ratio of width to height is 3:2. If you submit files in this ratio they will be reproduced exactly like an image from a 35mm camera. If the ratio is not 3:2, your image will be produced with two equal width black lines at top & bottom or left & right, dependant upon the ratio of width to height of your image.

Alternatively we can adjust your image to fit the full frame of 36x24mm, in this case you will have to accept our judgement on cropping or resizing the image.

We receive files from customers using many different colour workspaces and profiles. Our system takes account of this during the film writing process. However, we cannot absolutely guarantee exact colour accuracy but you can be confident that we will try our utmost to produce closely matched images.
